    30 to 40 mills ...

Alota heavy rain showin up west and south west now on radar . Been a challenging year with frost , hail , drought , now rain at pea harvest .
I had a feeling this year was going to be like goin 12 rounds with Mike Tyson . I was hoping I was wrong but 10 rounds in and throw in breakdowns at the absolute wrong time and a dealership that runs for the door at 5 pm ...
I just hope ole Jack Frost stays away anouther 10 to 14 days . That will be the final knock out for some.

      Furrow,

Looks like we are on track for our 30-40mm here in east central Alberta. Glad the forecasters nailed this one... nice when advance alerts work out as factual!

Hope you get your harvest in... and Pray

      the frost stays away!

All the best to you and yours! Have a safe harvest and enjoy your family... One privilege we have control to be fun and enjoyable with; those we love and are most important!

Ya I am glad they nailed this one too 👎. Prob only loose one or two grades on the green peas that were dry and excellent color yesterday ....
Combines were workin great until I lost a chopper blade on one. Was nice combineing at 5 mph with the headers barely touching the ground. Black fungus dust was bad though. Runnin 30 to 40. Not great but considering the year I will take it. Just wish we coulda got more before this .

Where did the rain go? The system that went through Regina last night left barely a trace.

A system worse than that one went East of Fort QuAppelle this morning at about 6:30. Don't know what came of it.

.05 inches so far(maholic). Can't say too much unless your looking for more to weigh down some light canola swaths before the wind starts up and it doesn't look like more rain is on the "radar" for us.

Only rains where it is WET, same old. That's why we couldn't farm without a dryer last 41 years. Not needed maybe 5 harvests.

Hope to get back out later today, and the drought continues and is spreading into the bank account. LOL
