Errol/Tom - what is your opinion on a beans put option? (To take the place of canola)

      Oliver,

The disconnect is that Canola is 45 percent oil... and Soy 22. Meal is very important to Soy complex and often drives price of beans... Then there is the exchange problem...

I was surprised how the Canola option spread was easily filled this morning...

Getting my risk of frost in today's forecast. See what that does to the market.

Oliver, please take this as an opinion only, but personally believe the worst is in for soybeans. Nov beans broke below $9/bu this morning. That's low.

Also, with the U.S. Fed likely to wimp out on their rate hike talk, the U.S. dollar may drop which would be supportive toward bean values.

            Famous last words . . . . .

Don't get bullish on us now Errol. Okay just not totally bearish.

Though I do recall farmtech 2014 when you were the only one in the room that felt that a rally was possible.
