It s being suggested Duffy was doing campaign work for Steve. And when it came time to pay Duffy was told take it out of the living expense. When he got caught Duffy was going to blow the lid that Steve told him that's how he d get paid. Steve s own lawyer testified he couldn't believe Steve was saying the living expenses were legitimate after he advised Steve they were not. In other words Steve was using phoney expenses to pay Duffy to campaign. And from there the plan was schemed up to make Duffy the only fall guy. When Duffy told Steve you told me I was entitles to these expenses and therefore wouldn't pay the money back. Steve had to find a way to pay him back Steve wanted to use money from the infamous mysterious secret conservative expense account to handle problems. Lol. Oil money anyone. Hahaha but when word got out about that account and the possibility that campaign spending laws were broke somehow Duffy still had to be paid to shut up. So the Good Samaritan wright just cut a check out of his own money too funny. Ya right!!!!

According to the lawyer Steve had at the time ray Novak Steve's old refoooooorm puppet is lieing about not knowing the scheme. The puppet refoooooorm Novak attended meetings where the lawyer was present. Novak and wright were Steve s most trusted confidants. It appears it already been proven that wrights testimony has been full of lies. But apparently Steve was not aware of all these meetings and hundreds of hours spent in the pmo Office figuring about how to handle this debacle.

Duffy did many fundraisers for Conservative Constituencies... this is a matter of record. NOT PM Harper.

"The man who oversees the Conservative Party's finances says he refused to pay off Sen. Mike Duffy's contested expenses, contradicting the version of events provided to police by the prime minister's former chief of staff.
Sen. Irving Gerstein, the chairman of the Conservative Fund Canada and former jewelry chain titan, delivered his report on the party's finances at the close of the party's biennial convention on Saturday.
For the first time, he addressed the discussions he had with Stephen Harper's ex-chief of staff Nigel Wright about paying back Duffy's living expenses.

Gerstein appeared to back Harper's line of attack on Wright -- that he was the only one seeking to cover Duffy's bill.
"I made it absolutely clear to Nigel Wright that the Conservative Fund Canada would not pay for Senator Duffy's disputed expenses and it never did," Gerstein told the crowd of roughly 1,500, to enthusiastic applause.
