I agree freewheat. Vote-splitting is going to put the Cons in again. If they ever get a clue and merge, Cons are screwed for eternity - too many lazy lefties in this country.

Voting Conservative. Voted NDP last time because my MP vowed to vote with the government and abolish the gun registry, which he did, and got his ass handed to him by Mulcair because of it. This next round I want to see the elimination of CBC funding, a showdown with the provinces over the Senate, a showdown with Kathleen Wynne and make things miserable for her remaining years, continued elimination of the border with the U.S., and more tax cuts. Elimination of transfer payments would be a biggie on the wish list, but don't think it would happen. Would definitely force provinces like Ontario to get their shit together.

Google this and watch the video:

"Stephen Harper supporter hurls profanity at journalists over Duffy questions"

As for vote splitting it won't be necessary as the Duffy trial is revealing Harper is a big lair.

Harper claimed all along that only Duffy and Wright were the only ones who knew about the $90,000.00 cheque. Wright testified that Harper's current chief of staff Ray Novak knew about the cheque being writen to Duffy. Novak advises Harper on every issue, so how does Harper not know about the cheque?

Freewheat, after watching the video, just wondering, do you know this guy?

Best case senario minority government for Harper.Worst case the Progressive Conservatives are again changing their name. Either way Harper is gone. All the money on ads in the world will not make a difference as no one believes a thing he says any more.

Yeah, I have read and perused the article. It was right under the one about the muslim liberal candidate for Edmonton wishing jews would have used a scissors on their kids before having been born.

Latest polls say that Harper has Ontario lead again. He does not need quebec, he needs a handful of Atlantic seats, the prairies and a bit of BC.

It is about where your support is concentrated. Cons have decent support almost everywhere. Other parties certainy can not say this. With the Bloc back in play with good old Duceppe, the ndp will struggle in Quebec this time.

I don't know if Mr. Harper knew about the cheque or not. I think he is an honest man, and stands by his word. Many folks think he is a liar, and they are entitled to this belief as well. Maybe we will know soon, maybe we will never know.

Mr. Harper has privately mused about stepping down within a couple years, even if he wins. He has had a long go of it, and he is young enough to still have some enjoyment of life.

why are we worried about Duffy.
we all know the senate has been a
liberal and Conservative overpaid retirement home.
              corrupt of course.
Now we are spending millions to prove crap about 90,000$ payment.

all the while this govt.s total incompetence, coupled with selling us into corporate slavery has cost each farmer , 200,000 $
and multi thousands more in seed costs to come.
and they still haven't even attempted to fix transportation issues.
              ( done nothing )
what the f do they think they are there for?

if they can screw up this sector that bad,
what the hell kind of a mess are they making every where else .

if these guys get a majority again.
              what's next.

they are already curtailing the generic drug industry.

the public research which comes up with 60% of the new drugs,
              will be sold off.
of course then you can pay 300$month
for what would have been a 25$ prescription. That's Conservative progress.

just watch as public research and healthcare gets sold out piece by piece.

that is too rich an industry not to be exploited by the health care machine in the US.
Harper will be their favorite son.

you guys are worried about a worse govt. .
How is that f ing possible ?

So just because Brad Wall voted conservative makes no difference to me what I think about him. I can see beyond that.

That's because he is a conformist.

Never mind david anderson just let a rsil way and a concrete elevator get tore our and handed the resulting highway bill to brad wall.

Good thing brad wall has the vision to redo cars for a fund raiser. Maybe that's his plan for funding highway repairs.

Wall and anderson both lack vision and can be easily kept in line.

Remember potash Corp as a strategic resource. No stupid survey with a predetermined result to make the decision about BHP not buying potash Corp.

But for farmland they have to do a one sided survey.

This Duffy thing is way over blown. Did the PMO manage it badly, so it seems but indeed is this the fatal blow of a PM perhaps, to me it seems like a tempest in a teapot, albeit a rather large nation stoupe... at any rate the real question is about choices.

Talked to a fellow in Manitoba yesterday who says the NDP never care about rural only votes. The Liberals, well all depends on who is advising Justin, if it is Paul Martin, that is good otherwise ??, and Stephen. This will not be an easy term as we struggle with a resource industry that isn't first in the world including grain and oil creating a declining budget in every area. Who will manage this better is the question? Who has the best plan to deal with a nation in a need of a new strategic plan?

If the Duffy thing is anything like a liberal fiasco, they are hiding something much larger behind the scenes.

The hint was that conservative supporter flipping out. There is something else that's ****ed up in Ottawa.

Reporters and others haven't found it yet.

Is harper the best pick? Don't know, I get to vote for anderson, Peterson or wiens in grasslands. Scratched anderson already. He's done nothing in 15 years.
