Yes Tom, coming up to 2 months now in MB. Going well, I like the area and the people. Starting raining tonight too so lets hope we get a good soak. Most of the wheat off around here, and most of the canola swathed - way earlier than our part of AB ever was.

Tom, I listened to your posted music and want to say Ty. So many memories of great university days in Saskatoon and Regina. Just think if we would have all met then, the great minds all sitting in the mub. One question for you, "Who were Benjamin Franklin's important friends?".

              Riders,

              I missed the CNCP thing...

"why don't you answer Rider's question in the thread "Rain....Tom" asking about why the Writ was taken off. Would be nice to hear the truth behind that whole story!

CNCP removed the Writ on our farm land titles... because they got their $400K they demanded from those who were in charge/responsible for the class action case on the 'alleged' rail car maintenance overpayments that failed to get legal status here in Alberta. My name was used. I was not responsible for the legal proceedings... nor any liabilities if the CNCP rail folks got nasty. June 30 they (CNCP) took off Writ.

                SDG,

                Interesting reading!

Washington may be who you mean?

"In his will, Franklin bequeathed Washington his walking stick which was adorned with a "cap of liberty." Washington's last letter to Franklin, dated September 23, 1789, summed up their long friendship and service to the American cause: "If to be venerated for benevolence, if to be admired for talents, if to be esteemed for patriotism…can gratify the human mind, you must have the pleasing consolation to know that you did not live in vain…so long as I retain my memory, you will be recollected with respect, veneration, and affection, by your sincere friend, George Washington."4"

"Born January 17, 1706 in Boston, Franklin was truly a self-made man. He was a printer, a writer, an inventor, a land speculator, one of the world's most famous scientists—most notably for discovering electricity—a diplomat, founder of the postal service, wrote the Pennsylvania Constitution, and served in the Continental Congresses. In addition, Franklin played a role in the Constitutional Convention and was one of America's highest ranking Freemasons."

So who paid the 400,000? Specifically because I must have Misread earlier I thought you implied there was a writ against your farm only.

And so you had nothing to do with taking the charges against the railways?

It's a typical smokescreen. Tom wanted to be involved but not the expense.

                    Hey that's like Duffy. Lol.

Maybe tom and Mike are buddies. Figures allude they may belong to the same secret club. Lol.

                          Tom

Good policy is if you are asked a question just answer it every time.

Don't deflect by saying you have answered it. That implies you can't keep your facts straight. So you either dont know or you are not being forthcoming.

Harper has fell into the same trap.

Just answer the question with the same reply.

It's simpler and people hate having to look back thru things to find it.

                          Harper on ...Tom. lol.
