This thread was started for the Lefties and the Libs to state what there parties would do different when elected. They haven't made one good argument why they should be voted in other than they are sick of status quo. My vote won't change because neither one of these parties have a platform that is worth talking about. Looks like things are going to get real ugly on the world markets and we are going to need a good captain at the helm to weather this shit storm.

If you maybe left the sheep alone for a few minutes and came out of the bush you d find that in every party there are people that believe different and the same on this issue. Unless of course you and Steve have demanded that each mp reformer have to have your view? I wasn't aware that all the reform mps had to have that view on abortion. The sheep theory of political discourse - lefties, being weak on the concept of individual responsibility, are always somewhat insecure in their own thoughts unless those thoughts are validated by others in their "progressive" herd. This makes them particularly insecure when faced with the possibility that those who disagree with them may, in fact, be the more independent thinking among society. Reflexively, they often resort to calling those who disagree sheep, or sheeple, to make themselves feel more secure in their own status as followers.
Meanwhile, those on the right who have more faith in personal responsibility are perfectly willing to consider the possibility that those on the left are wrong entirely on their own, without outside interference. Note that I'm not saying it's necessarily the case that lefties aren't highly influenced by the leftie herd, just that the rest of us rarely need to think of them as sheep because we're perfectly willing to let them be responsible for their own incorrect thinking.
Summary :
Leftie - you righties must be sheeple because you disagree with my herd mentality
Rightie - you lefties don't have to be a sheeple to be wrong, you're perfectly capable of being mistaken all by yourself

When Paul Martin was in charge he decreased the nation debt by 90 billion and Harper increased the debt by 160 billion and has nothing to show for it.
