So, if a BTO pie gets split 3 to 4 ways am I at about 2400 acres any different than each of the "pieces" of the BTO pie?

Size of the farm doesn't matter its how efficient you are. Guy beside farms 30000 acres its a shit show. One earth and Broad acres were other examples of total **** up operations. Then their are BTOs that run one hell of a operation their the ones that never get on the news never hit the spotlight just know how to farm and farm good.

Our sub soil moisture is topped up again now , it can turn dry here and stay that way till Oct.
Actually most of central Alberta and western Sask top soil and sub soil has been mostly recharged - at the expense of some pule crops .

I've said it before. The average primary Producer is the unsung hero of the Industry.

Nice work on getting the peas off.
What variety do you find the best for stand ability and straight cutting?
Which variety pods highest off ground?

I should be R&Ring but I have to go fix my combine, I don't have someone else here who will do it. Time to put on the mechanics hat. Which are you wearing today?

lentil samples so far are dismal at best. A lot of lentils are still in the field and looks aren't improving. To get #1 s, it seems they have to be swathed and in the bin on August 15. Our reds are in the bin but French are still out. 200 acres of Canola cut. Farmaholic, we too are hoping that this 1/2 inch rain will hold the swaths down, It was pretty ripe and bushy when cut. Maybe some goose dung will help too.
