Good luck fellows! There is no threat here and the worst it would do is maybe lighten the bushel weight and darken the color of flax on our farm. Never a dull moment farming in Western Canada.

Actually grrrr, good thing not full moon, we would be sitting at -4c with this set up.
Currently at 1c on our lowland now, no frost yet but usually coldest temp is now, that 1/2 hr before sunrise - all good here. Everything is soaked with very heavy dew, some fog in area.

Looks like the coldest air is sitting from Meadow to Rosetown, dead above us but no frost. Close, but made it through round 11 - onto the last round now.

Portuons of alberta froze. Looks like patchy frost beiseker through three hills trochu. Vegreville, andrew, and a few others reporting 0 east and NE of edmonton. Killam area sitting at 1. The cold air is extensive this am though slumping into montana, wyoming, and portions of south dakota.

Some light frost in ditch grass and on peas stubble. Got a nip here in low spots. very short time frame though, hopefully no visible crop damage later.

same here furrow. odd in that air temp was actually slightly above 0 on my stuff to the west of home, but yet the grass was sparkling.

                    Helm,

I am amazed how accurate DTN maps of frost forecasts have been... 4 days ahead. Rain very close as well... all summer; miles ahead of Enviro Canada.

Your right Tom. Another 26.5 million wasted with nothing to show for it.

                          Jag

Where is your thermometer set up?

In yard temps can be different than in field.
