We had that choking smoke for weeks from the N wind and SK fires, so sad the fires will not stop!

Despite the best efforts of man, sometimes it takes the same force that causes the crisis to solve it...

Furrow, that would s so true. Without the smoke end of June, beginning of July, 40 degree temps, no rain and 60 km. winds would have made quick work of the struggling crops. Thank You smoke.

I agree but now it's slowing the crops down from ripening.

22 percent and it's been sprayed for 15 days.

We need heat. The days are shorter and I want to finish up.

The last two days, the dew has soaked the grass by 7pm, even though it is still 20 * f away from the dewpoint temp. The grass stays wet till about 11am when the sun finally gets to be direct enough to cut through the smoke and do some drying. Makes for a very short harvest window every day. It acts like a very drawn out dusk and dawn.

                    Bucket,

                    NEWS FLASH...

If you spray early... often the dry down is not different than if it had not been sprayed with glyph at all. if all the energy is going up to the filling heads... and leaves are gone/done... guess what!

Swathing will be MUCH quicker... if the rain stays away... AND better colour/quality on top!!!
