What ever happened to Nicole Rogers Agriprocity?
Direct shipping cleaned wheat to the United Arab Emirates. Her presentation was fairly logical but that was a couple of years ago.
      Was it all fluff?

We shipped a container of clean wheat to China. Worked quite well. May do more...

We're actually in the process of a business plan to upgrade wheat barley and pulses through the use of a BoMill and color sorter.

See if I can get that past FCC small Ventures.

Good luck selling Pasteur into the U.S. milling market. I grew it last yr with that intention, they don't want a general purpose wht down there. Ended up selling it for feed.

Strange - all #1 at the elevator down the road. Hauled in what did not fit in the bins. Moved onto Carberry - 10 bus better and 1 pt higher protein with better color plus way easier to thrash than Goodeve. Seen the same last year. Goodeve done here if we grow hard red at all.

hobby - we don't go to Mexico - weak hit btw. We streamlined our expenses long ago there little guy. It's called putting only into the crop what it needs as it grows - and its working. We don't blindly dump on fert before the crop is even germed, spray when unesessary or spend money on iron when not NEEDED. We still run couple 15 plus year old main tractors and a basic airdrill. The money we save there put me the wife and kids in Disney almost every year. That and I basically work three jobs and the wife is a teacher puts a bit of food on the table. Canola, green peas and hrsw have paid very well the past ten years for us and will again with maybe a change to hrsw - time will tell.

There was a memo from common sense (it was discussed on this site) to not grow red spring wheat this spring. Now if its in your capital nature to go and contribute to the world burdensome supply of red spring why complain?

There seems to be a burden some supply of everything all the time somewhere in the world . We grow what works best for us and our climate . I usually do the opposite of others Memos on what we should or should not grow. Most likely price this HRSW out to next June - basis levels are attractive .

I grow a niche green. Havent had issues.....yet.
Hrs wht is also a niche product. Almost always was. Now it will finally be grown where and when its profitable. Only. Finally.

I was thinking of renting my land out next year, but if everybody not growing wheat I might change my mine and farm a few more years .
