Getting off subject, but remember days when neither Pool agent nor helper would stay open after hours during harvest.
Had to shovel grain out of bin next morning.
One more step in disillusion with pools, co-ops and union run systems.

We have Hopper bins and S-bee trailers now... so no need to shovel Sunday Grain on Monday morning! folks need a break once a week... right?

BTW,

Heat is for managing broadleaf weed problems... does almost Nothing on grassy problems like wildoats and cereal second-growth. High rate with lots of water did nothing to late escape wildoats in peas. BASF rep said this before I applied... no surprise.

I remember in all our years of farming, no weekend service, and even having to fly to USA sometimes for parts because Canadian dealerships were closed for long weekend and always have break down on long weekend. 4:30 Friday, doors locked, gonzo! To boot, never remembered elevators open after hours and only if you had a really good elevator agent, would you be able to dump on weekend and never ever on a Sunday.
