    CNCP Week 2 rail car performance 2015-16

    Key figures from Grain Week 2:

    o CN and CP supplied 7,005 (94%) of the 7,475 hopper cars ordered for delivery in Grain Week 2 resulting in 470 hopper car orders remaining outstanding.

    o CN supplied 89 % of the hopper cars that were ordered for Grain Week 2.

    o CP supplied 97 % of the hopper cars that were ordered for Grain Week 2.

    o Boxcar shippers received 20% of orders.

    o CN supplied 69% of orders in non-bulk corridors including the USA/Mexico

    o CP supplied 87% of orders in non-bulk corridors including the USA/Mexico

    Well there are fewer points to spot cars at they should be meeting their targets but are not. A 10000 tonne concrete missed cars 2 weeks ago that were supposed to show up yesterday.

    That point now needs 2 trains in a week to catch up otherwise they can't be used.

    A neighbor has peas contracted there that now have to be pushed to moose jaw be a use they don't have space. He is 5 minutes from the point. Over an hour and a half because of ****ed roads to moose jaw for him.

    It's a ****ed up system. Both rail and graincos have to have a regulator. And they both should be imposed a fine for using the highways for no good reason.

      Doesn't his contract stipulate delivery point? Wouldn't he/she be compensated for the haul?
