    Alberta disaster?

So listened to late news and Alberta has projexted 5.9 billion deficit. And one of the reasons besides oil price was 100s of millions for farmers because Alberta gov declared a disaster?
What difference does declaring a disaster have in Alberta? Because here our mr declared multiple years disaster and it really only meant more money for the mr not farmers so is there something different in Alberta or is that just bullsht reporting?

    Riders,

Farmers voted for MLA's other than NDP... expected that we will be blamed by gov. for causing deficit. I bet Crop Insurance will cost $250M more than usual.. I believe majority of loss reinsured and not taxpayer liability. MD's will get some more money... Where disasters declared. Defer income tax on cattle sales etc.

Wait watch your lovely government as she takes hold change the way things are done in Alberta.
We had these useless politicians that you now have for years and they destroyed Saskatchewan.
First up will be the budget next year, She will slash your crop insurance program blamining the drought for much of the provinces problems.
She will increase the premiums because well she just wants to and has to cover the losses if you have a drought again.
She will put Diesel back to same as City diesel to help.
She will increase rental rates on crown land to unbelievable amounts.
Croporate tax will go up and all farmers are corporations so share the wealth your going to pay.
      Then the paper work.
Phone a number before you seed spray harvest etc. Government make work projects for useless uneducated NDP.
Ah the games are just beginning.
You voted them in now your going to have fun.

        "We had these useless politicians"

Alberta had a PC government for 44 years, so how good were they? Explain to me where all that royalty money from oil went, as compared to what Norway has!!!

I cant explain your past but I will explain your future. If Mulclair wins your going to become the feeder for the rest of Canada. You will have shit all while he hands it out to Ontario and Quebec and the Bastion of great NDP government Manitoba.
You have elected the most evil and awful form of government and four years will change alberta for a generation.
Its only started but I wish you well your going to need it.

Mulcair is claiming to run a balance budget if elected. Harper had 8 years of deficits. Not sure if it can get much worse!!!

Forage, yesterday on QR 77 radio they interviewed the head of the federal NDP party socialist caucas. He said they made up 35 to 40% of national NDP members. In his opinion Mulcair has moved way to far to the right. He wants higher taxes on corporations than Mulcair has proposed, more progressive taxes on the wealthy, no income tax on people earning under 30000. Now here is the kicker, he wants the federal government to buy out all the companies in the oil sands and gradually shut it down. Now forage your going to yell fear mongering but that is what he said. These people are way out there I don't believe a word Mulcair says. As for Notely, all the finance minister could talk about was the need for more revenue that means more taxes soon we will be like Ontario!!!

Do you think if prentice would have been elected, he would have had a balanced budget?

I think alberta was in trouble long before the ndp got there.

When will some people realize that they could completely shut down canada and make it like it was before the white man came here and it still wouldn't make .oooooo1 percent difference in the global warming/climate change cluster****?

I think it's all a ploy, the right purposely votes in the left when things become totally unmanageable. That way the left is left with making all the tough decisions and doing the necessary heavy lifting. The public then hates them and the right gets re-elected after all the unpopular things that need doing get done.

If anyone thinks I'm serious, oh boy. ....

haha farmaholic, if you look at usa everytime a republican gets in the economy goes to shit then a democrat takes over and the country rebounds unexplainably.

But Saskfarmer where the heck have you been the last while our crap insurance premiums almost doubled here under Wall he hired all the NDP cronies to run the program just take a good listen at the same old policies, no hay in places and guys are being forced to combine a few bushels of wheat or peas totally stupid.

But I d like to know does declaring yourself a disaster in Alberta give you extra money out of the Grow Backwards program? Because I don t see where they are getting all this 100s of millions. and that tax incentive they can stuff up their asses her boys as you loose your farm here is a tax incentive. *** joke. Why didn t they just give all those other pre election spending spree places a tax incentive to shut down also.

                              Prentice proposed a 7 billion deficit....so....???
Corp taxes are paid on profit, not loss. Making profit in a country that will allow you to make profit, should cost you something...taxes can't just go on the underlings.....that's the meaning of society.
                              Sask time will come again......
