People bring money ..Money brings people.Once you get the wheel rolling it has to be stopped and pushed the other way.People coming back and staying in province has been good but I migration has been a huge boost to the province.Sask needs young taxpayers to stay financially safe in the future.

It means no matter what we will be running deficits. The whole structure is flawed.
The cure divy up tax revenues allocate them to various departments and say there you go thats your budget make it work. Personally I'd flat tax corps and individuals at 25 percent and make the dollars spent as close to the municiple level as possible.

When they talk $49 oil it's with respect to the price differential taken out. Average lift and processing costs on sask oil is $35 cdn a barrel. Not all oil is the same neither. Some is higher quality and worth more and some is no better than asphalt. I do agree we depend too much on resources and this province has changed since the govt changed but seriously it couldn't keep going the way it was. Less than a million people with over 100000 deriving their income from the taxpayer ie teachers etc. Face it before 65% of education was funded by property taxes. How much belly aching went on about that but where else could they find the money when there is no other industry? I don't know what to think about bringing in some many foreign workers. I have mixed emotions cause yes when everything goes to shit what do you do with them? Until we get that other large untapped population in the work force we will need foreign imports.

Ummm - what is the percentage of actual tax payers in Sask ?? - that really contribute meaningfully - my guess is not very high. Way too many free loaders yet in this province. Greece is full of lazy free loaders and their "workforce " demands a 4 day work week to boot with paid holidays, sick leave , and way over safety regulated work place - how's that goin ?? This is where OH&S fits in BTW...
Staring us in the face daily - look at Alberta - when you spend $2 for every $1 you make eventually your fuked - its simple grade 3 math for *** sakes..
And I know my grammer and spelling are maybe grade 5 - but at least I get the big picture - most of the time.
