The 9790 was excellent in canola
Wheat we struggled with white caps and it would throw over on the left side very easy without the hillside kit
the 9795's were better in wheat but sieves started to break apart
Loved the engine and cooling system on the 9795's
The first 9560's were a nightmare for trashing and sieve loss . There was 50 pages of updates last winter so they may have some issues figured out but we had enough and now went back to Gleaners - S77 and a S78 - gotta take a bit more time in canola but wheat they are unreal for a class 7 . Peas , most machines are very good .

SDG Your probably right. Check clearance and recalibrate readout. Procedure is probably in manual somewhere. I hate the 90 series operator's manual!
Does that model have the twin pitch rotors? Not familiar with how they perform. At 1100 rpm and proper clearance there should be no whitecaps at all.
One other thing - make sure lower sieve is in good shape. They should last forever but don't last at all.

We had Gleaners before the switch to Massey - mainly because of canola and 36 ft swaths
Not an issue now - the updated front ends on the 77 and the 78's work fine now. Still can't feed like a Massey but far more consistent.
In canola we run them at 600-650 rotor , 1.2 in concave , 22 top sieve , 10-15 bottom, 4.5 wind
Can hold 3.5 to 4 mph in 36 ft swaths with clean sample and very low loss .

open it up a bit feeder full, rotors 1100-1200, grapple extensions "in", wires in, some filler plates in (make sure the back side is locked in), pre-sieve goes directly into clean grain, might have to close it down a bit. we have had to calibrate sieves more than once. check to make sure both are opening up the same across the entire sieve (lower)
