    Forage

There is a difference between then and now.

    And it's quite obvious.

    Parsley makes done valid points.

Culture and religion are the two that make the most difference then and now. They wouldn't have been let in back then either.

I was in Austria this summer to visit my grandfathers family. While there, I found out he was one of the 60000 immigrants from that region that left in the 1920s to come to Canada and US. That region of Austria only had a population of 2500000 people.

Now can any one tell me on here that they all were saints and some didn't have hate towards other races and religions? Let's be honest, many Europeans didn't exactly love everybody. I don't think I need to spell it out.

I get what you are saying. But I still believe there are big differences between then and now.

But to be fair I think the fact our forces are over there isn't helping them or us.

I think there is a better solution. But I don't get paid to think for that. And my free advice isn't acted on.

Forage, who is more likely to do a terrorist act after migrating; an Austrian or an Islamic Syrian?
            Which migrant supports Sharia Law?

            Big difference.

I guess what I'm saying, we as Canadian's, who have so much, must be able to help in some way. Some of the Syrian refugees are Christians, some of them are highly educated, and some of them believe in peace and a better world just like you and I, Bucket.

As for Canada bombing Syria, I have always agreed with you 100% on that statement.

The is the problem. You and I both know you can't differentiate on religion as to who gets in.

                That creates another problem.

And yes some would be a good addition to this country.

                I don't doubt that.

                  Bucket,

We DO NOT NEED to Discriminate by religion. This is NOT what Canada has ever been about. We do have the ability to monitor and stop those who would destroy our nation... the infrastructure is in place.

                    Tom

Canada has so. It just wasn't talked about then.

                    Don't be so blind.

It's hard to be proved but I would bet even you are guilty of it without even knowing it.

Your religion crap even here turns people off.

Just imagine what it is like in person.

It was rare to hear of anyone wanting to refuse refugee entry in the past. Especially since governments were guided by reasonable quotas and an assistance budget not deigned to bankrupt us. I wanted to help those running from danger. So did everyone.

But similar lineups today are now populated with refugees who leave so they can harm us. Terrorists.

They are real. They are here. They are financed. They are smart.
                      Welcome to 2015!

We can ignore what is facing is at our peril. Some will try to talk it away, Some will try to pray it away. Some will scream "racist". Some will be bribed by those who wish to destroy us. Each to their ability.

There are countless articles warning us that refugees are mules that allow terrorists to ride along.
                      http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-32770390

Canadians haven't traditionally followed the nuances of refugee movement, because it wasn't an issue that rarely impacted our safety

But it's today, and refugees' motives that drastically changed from leaving so they could get away from danger, to leaving so they can become the danger, snuck up on us. Many of you are still in denial.

But, it is Islamist refugees who are hiding amongst benign refugees, Syrian in this case. Not Taoists, not Buddhists, not Catholics, but Islamists.

I'm not saying that other religious ppl don't become terrorists, because they do; certainly Irleland and pipe bombs have become synonymous, but our present national danger is Islamic terrorism.

                      So what do we do?

First of all we must acknowledge that those entering Canada don't necessarily have our heads at heart. Grow up. These are terrorists who want to kill us. And I agree that does not necessarily mean we should forever refuse every refugee applicant hereon in.

But application scrutiny from Syria should be slowed. We cannot differentiate between a terrorist and a true refugee needing help. There are too many. They lie. Cheat. And as sum dum noted, their papers cannot be trusted.

The Syrian applicants cannot be hurried through our system. Nor can the system in place continue to be the template used. We have so many thieves and terrorists and criminals that have entered this country through trickery, their rubber stamping is a criminal act in itself.

An Islamist beheading and then eating an innocent soul on a Manitoba bus was our wakeup call. That Islamic terrorist should NEVER ever have been accepted as a citizen.

Safety must trump entry. Safety must trump charititable acts. Safety must trump criticism. Safety must trump religious do-gooders who are blissfully ignorant about what they are up against.

Canadians must come first... Our next generation must come first, after all, they are the ones who will be infidels, the dhimmis.

Even if it makes you and I stand up today and take responsibility for speaking against opening our nation to the very ones who hate us, who's written doctrine describes us as "filth, it truly is a small act of courage that will preserve our better tommorow. Parsley
