    Battle for the bottom

Big game monday, I'm a bomber fan but this one is a toss up imo. both have a poor defence, roughies may have an edge on offence. Deliverance time. Duelling banjo's!

Matt Nichols, should be a good pickup. Who's Brian Brohm, sounds like he's starting for the peggers?

Yep brohm is starting, he's been around for a couple of years, he hasn't been impressive in relief. This could be his last chance to impress.

Why ruin a percect record? Owen Riders!!!!

Surprised they let Taman go. Was even sticking up for Chamblin until his arrogance and what I see as SPITE clearly shining through last game. I bet there has been a bit of tension leading up to this between upper management and head coaching, this shit doesn't happen overnight.

Good bye Sunseri and hopefully for the last time. Not a "personal" attack, he might be the nicest guy on the team but nice doesn't win football games, skill and coaching does.

            __ Riders.

I think the Riders win this 28-14.

Taman likely was forced to walk the plank since he wouldn't get rid of Chamblin.

Hope Smith doesn't get corked when he's running around outside the pocket as neither of our back-ups have ever played a down in the CFL.

Seeing the biggest threat they are is to themselves, maybe the opposition's defense can use a little commonsense under the circumstances and not hit him hard enough to injure him.

1.6" or 42 mm, and three more days to go...rain takes grain/$$$. After drought comes the FLOOD.

Had around 5 inches, official Estevan weather station showing Sept 4th - 0.6mm; Sept 5th - 122.4mm; data for the 6th not up yet.

Glad we're 85-90% done, cutting low for beans might be kinda hellish with the mud rather than the hard dry ground that was there last week. Probably a couple weeks before they're ready, maybe it'll dry up by then.

As long as the top is firm. Some people needed some rain to replenish the soil.

Good luck to everyone who has a lot to go. At least its not Oct 15/15.
