    Parts prices!!!

Have gone completely irrational at the stealerships.
They will now only be used as a last resort.

Selling less new iron - so gona get you in parts and hard.
I know, I know it's the dollar lol - but do they really need to add another 35% on top of something already marked up 300% ??

no shit , they are out of control . and big variance from one dealer to another . vine lifters anywhere from 32- 48 $ , same f#%# ing piece . asked why they went up 40 % , they said it's the dollar , I said they come from Germany , their dollars no good either ! what a joke . but shop around . combine world quite reasonable , new parts and lots you would only think you could get from dealership. header knife drive brand new , made in Italy , 50% of dealer cost and 2 years warranty !! she definetely is open season on farmers ! lucky we're getting that full exchange on our wheat (NOT) to make up for screwing were taking on fertilizer and machinery made right here in sask.

Yup no doubt. Was in local Case ih dealer yesterday was looking at sprayer antifreeze it was 16.5 for 9.5 litre jug. Asked parts person if I could get a better price if I bought by the case. Looked on computer was 14.25 last year. I said must be the dollar, she said no I ordered from a new supplier it was cheaper this year. Same at New Holland dealer bought 20 litres 15/40 oil 97 bucks. Went down the street to favourite bearing hydraulic dealer low 70's for chevron 15/40 dealers are right out of it.

4 cheasy concave blanks 12ga metal $1200 from New Holland, two 5 foot long concave blanks from Agco $140. At least Agco has not gotten the memo.

I try and get as many parts south of the line as I can. Look at Shoup.Com. Even with the exchange prices are way cheaper.

I usually check online as often as I can because there is no reason we should have to pay twice what they do down south.

I noticed also that agco is a lot cheaper , CNH is out of control . guy at combine world says they can order near anything , price on item today at case $1450 , combine world $1000 . he says it is the same case part number out of the US . not sure how they do it . wonder if these dealers realize they are slicin their own throats ? another part here was $750 at case , same one at case in ND was $520 USD , so with exchange not really any cheaper in ND

One concave, and not to big to manhandle, $1400ish. There's nine in the front threshing sections of different configurations(some the same), then the grates behind to the rear of them.

Can someone forward the contact info along to me to who I pass the increased costs to. Isn't that how its done in most other industries?

I go on EBay for filters. As long as you can cross-reference you can save 75% on Wix filters. Guy I got them from was out of Fort Lauderdale, FL and free shipping to boot. That was an eye-opener on filter mark-up.
