Not sure what more needs to be said, the blame game can only be used so many times before everybody realizes that someone has to be held responsible for THEIR own actions.

Canada is doomed either way so might as well elect the NDP and get it over with. No way any politician will deal with the real problems which include: equalization, highly overpaid civil service, rail monopoly in the west, and getting the energy east pipeline built telling Quebecers that the transfer payments dry up without it.

        Bucket

I can see your point, as from what I have gathered here on Agriville you have put a lot of effort into contacting various MP's regarding RRs and infrastructure.

Right and everyone passes the buck..

          Here are some comments.

          1. We can't tell private businesses what to do. ( but they could tell BHP to **** off)

          2. Eyebrow elevator should have never been built there. ( but it was and it should be used)

          3. Use the market. (The canadian grain exchange is not functional)

          Etc etc.

I don't know what our farm lobby groups do but they seem to be on the same page as this government. Liquid lunches I guess.

A bad drought this year and no talk of ag issues. Not even anyone talking about the massive improvement in farming to prevent dust blowing all over. What farmers have done for the environment should be rewarded not ignored.

X 2 bucket, Ag does NOT exist, 2% of pop so we are NOT needed. Guess nobody eats or works in ag related industry that feeds off farmers? Or as said all are in on the liquid lunches. I like the infrastructure plan IF it includes Rail and highways and rural internet.

60000 farmers driving 1 in 8 jobs according the agvocate website.

Not a peep in the election.

But throwing a million dollars at 15000 migrants is an election issue.

              **** sakes.

I am unhappy with the way Harper has managed our country's finances but perfection is hard to find in this world. My constituency will vote Conservative doesn"t matter how I vote, but I will vote Conservative b/c can't stomach the other 2. If I was younger smarter richer I would run myself as an independent, and wish there were more independents running, as they might get enough seats to have influence.
I hope/think a lot of people think as I do, and Harper forms the next government.

                  Funny

I can't stomach my conservative mp. He has accomplished SFA in 15 years unless you count that mighty nice pension he is getting when he retires after this election.

I think that was a misunderstood comment. Sort of like the conservatives saying they would fine the railways daily. Turned out to be never.

Oilsands are an expensive extraction. In low oil price terms companies are burning equity to get it out of the ground.

No doubt harper snd the alberta government will find a way for those companies to stay viable until oil prices rebound just like they did for the auto sector.

In reality you can't abandone the oil sands because it's a wealth creator for the country.

                    I think peterson understands this.

Tim Peterson is a anti-oil lefty who wants the Oilsands to stay in the ground.

There are MANY in the NDP that feel this way.

I will quiz the rest of his clan to see if that's his intent of his comments.

I can't see that being an opinion without the rest of the family straightening him out.

i would vote cons. if it wasnt for harper. been a pc conservative all my life. I think hes a liar , control freak and is always preaching fear to canadians. But then it wont matter cause the cons. could run a fence post and he would still win.

Like the suggested answer to refugee crisis.
Legalize marijauna and then we won't worry about them so much, not to say that legalization would be wrong.
