    Here is a riddle.

What is the debt of canada, how much of the deficits are actually just going to interest payments through the years and how much of the public debt ever actually built a bridge a road or a school........

So why the **** with that information could you possibly be bothered to vote for anyone.

Ditto! Came to that conclusion months ago before the writ was even dropped. No idea who or how this mess can be fixed. I guess the first thing voters need to learn is that there are no such things as Government freebies. It's our money . We need to keep it closer to home.

Riders it amazes me how anti harperites twist the facts. First off Syrian refugees are fleeing the civil war which began in 2012 and has killed over 250000 Syrians. To blame the hundreds of thousands displaced refugees on Harper is laughable. The brutality of the Syrian regime and of Isil is beyond our comprehension and the absolute BS you are putting on here is disgusting.

Its around 10% government revenue on 280ish billion budget,so ya every single deficit penny was basically interest debt charge in the last god knows how many years...want me to look it up...buehler,buehler,buehler has anyone seen a farris buehler?

I guess better than the 24% in the 90's but then the magic of higher interest rates messed with the math...calling qe...calling qe...qe please pick up the phone we have a bond auction on line one.

In all the confusion i can't remember if i fired five shots or six so i won't go into total federal, provincial and municipal debt,so lets discuss *** rights, dope smokers rights and the impending doom of a bunch of 12 century sand ******s who can't manufacture a carbuerator let alone a car, obviously we should keep hosers out if they don't like titties and beer right doug, right bob.

Or should we maybe talk about our paradox with japan and the fact our debt is more manageable but our current account is awful there fore we can't self fund like they did therefore we may need a whole lot of external capital before them and if our swaps curve moves we are in a whole lot of trouble.

Does no one remember the televised murders from ISIS...? How could we not react and respond in some manner that would hurt those murderers. I feel for any of these leaders they can't win. The public emotions change with the wind. If something goes wrong everyone forgets why we are there in the first place.

NDP Tom, would have not have stood up against those murdering bastards. He would have sent a few bucks and an invitation to Canada to the refugee camps. Even Obama has learned the World isn't that simple. Islamic extremist's will always want to kill and fight anyone who doesn't want to follow their beliefs. Their ultimate goal is to have the World live under Sharia law. Tom if he becomes PM will soon realize it isn't that easy to turn a blind eye and not stand beside your Allies. Can you imagine if we had an idiot like him calling the shots during WW1 and WW2 with his its not our fight attitude. God help us all.

                  Well said mbratrud.

NDP prefers to sing kumbya and pretend ISIS isn't murdering thousands.
Gormley discussed a crazy NDP candidate for the Grasslands/Swift Current area today.....quite the loon.

Would you like a violin tune Hamloc? Maybe a version of he titanic?

If I was a liar I d apply for a job at the Pmo office id be qualified and there are openings weekly. But behind the scenes were all buddies me Nigel and Steve. Steve would pretend to throw me under the bus in a week. I m thinking there must be an off shore oil account for me and Nigel for after the election to accept being thrown under the bus. We pay other peoples bills, 90,000 no problem. Nigel write a cheque.

                    We bombed and accomplished what?
Hundreds of thousands of refugees are on the move, we have no idea who they really are we have no strategy but it was a real success, yep sure was.

I agree though Mulcair has no idea what to do there either. So we have the right wing nutball and the left wing nutball not knowing what to do. Big surprise. Harper is there for the oil and Mulcair would go to unionize everyone.

                      mbratrud:
Do you really think 6 CF18s is all that Canada needed to do and will stop ISIS? All that did was inflame the situation and make Canada a target for terrorism.
You either go in and do the job or stay out!

Sadly canada turns a blind eye to many other regions of the world that have or had the same problems.

For some reason we poke our noses in the middle east where there is no winning. It just harper buying a lottery ticket hoping to cash in on something. Not sure what it is because IF they restore order over there chances are the oil industry in canada is done for a while.

No I do not believe 6 planes is enough. It's not just 6 planes, we have boots on the ground scouting targets and training. It's our contribution in a larger coalition. If society always viewed things from the perspective if I cant do it myself I won't do it at all where would the world be? I will be the first to agree the mission is flawed, but they have made a difference, and the alternative was to watch the Orange suits continue cutting off the heads of any westerner they could get their hands on.

Ultimatly there should have been a ground offensive, but politicians know from Afghanistan that western civilization doesn't have the stomach for casualties. So we do the next best thing we inflict pain from a plane. That's not Harpers fault.. that is all of our fault. We don't have near the balls our grand parents had. We haven't yet had to face a real personal threat to our freedom. But it's coming.

So when it comes down to it I would rather see us in the fight with our allies than standing at the back of the crowd watching our friends get their hands dirty.
