    Glencore

Mallee brought this up a while back but now it's popping up on news feed. Sounds like they are in real trouble spinning off assets, issuing shares, closing copper mines trying to raise 10b. Their CDs have spiked and I think it was the CEO said commodity prices are in real trouble.

Dont know as much about them as I should maybe next rain event. Sounds like they are the biggest player in the commodity spectrum handling vast financial paper instrument trades and one anylyst compared them to the Lehman of the commoditie world

It stands to reason that if China isn't building 10 to 15 cities of a million people annually, commodity demand is going to suffer.

I'm afraid all of the meddling around of governments and banks and pencil pushers in the markets has led to MASSIVE imbalances.

The market should be left alone.

Use more cement in 3 years then america did in all of the twentieth century?WTF what happens in the future when you don't need anymore and demand falls of a cliff for a very long time because its not needed so all your factories close, people laid off tax revenues fall just when they are needed most, drop rates to zero pull demand and capacity forward then whoops looks like we didn't need all that expensive shale oil.
