Remember back in the spring when barley prices were going up? The CWB and the maltsters figured that was the federal government's "fault" so they wanted compensation for their losses on forward sales contracts.
So I guess now that prices are dropping like a rock after the Hansen decision, the same logic says that must the CWB's fault.
I figure we should all total up how much we've lost and send the CWB a bill. I'm sure they'll be happy to pay...after all, the ONLY thing they care about is what's good for farmers. (Yeah, right!)
