value of any commodity or stock, in the absence of regulation, govt interference, etc, when traded in an open market will eventually gravitate towards it intrinsic value abritraged by its physical location and currency....so yea things can be manipulated and affected by rumor, but in the end they will move to their real value or intrinsic value if traded openly, otherwise someone loses a pile of money, govt or individual.......that is how supply meets demand, whether it is stocks of a physical commodity,...it is simple econmics.......

the chickenshit politics is the crap you and the friends of the CWB are playing, denying me of my rights in a so called free and just society, you get together with your like minded firends and do whatever the hell you wnat with your crop, leave me do as i please with mine.....

        Wilagro,

The CWB "Single Desk" is a tool for the use of COWARDS, who take Chairman Ritters "Gun" and threaten their communities and neighbours with fear.

GREED drives what you do... take what I created, confiscate it, and live off the grace of your neighbour.

Hope you know what you are doing WILAGRO... there will be a day (on the other side of eternity) of accountability for your actions!

HO...HO...Tom4CWB is now talking FOR God and the Judgement Day Express.

"Hope you know what you are doing WILAGRO... there will be a day (on the other side of eternity) of accountability for your actions!" - Tom4CWB

Sorry, Tom but..."Who died and made you boss?"

"On the other side of eternity"...LOL.

I guess that I will just have to fend for myself or delegate someone else to act on my behalf.

What a crock of beans. I've heard enough for today...time to go check the stock market...must see how my Sask Wheat Pool is doing.

Wilagro, Thanks to you and us, due process and folks at the NF some sanity has returned to the market place. Of course all the progressive Angriville guys/gals have forward sold for Big, big money and have iron clad contracts with their grain company friens that will destroy the rest of us LOL I say. The open market does however remain a viable choice, wildly bumping and grinding prices, make it look like a crap table at casino royalle. Can't wait for Chuckies next move, probably like in the movies he'll grab a big knife and start threatening everyone, or at least swearing at people. AB gag minister is threatening to get rough and tough and at the same time be friends with everybody Sassammmm Tory magic Pfffff! PC's are so predictable, they are fossils in a real world, barley freedoom day, Pffff!!!!!!

Burbert, and thank you too for your support and the ability to see through the smokescreen that these Anti's keep throwing up.

The open market for grain is an invitation for disaster although if I was a big-time gambler, I could prey on these simple folk and take ALL of their money.

Just remember one thing as Tom4CWB says...the grain companies are our FRIENDS...that way, you'll never go wrong. LOL

wilagro, Burbert.....your posts are laughable and offer no real value except for comdedic lunacy.....

we will get our freedom to market our crops, frankly do not see your friends in the NDP or Dion led liberals having a chance....

if the open marketing plan i have been executing on my canola, oats and peas is the disaster you suggest than enter the fray and play.....you fools...you should look in the mirror and you will see who the real simple folks are...

the most profitable commodities on our farm are the non board crops, same is likely said for most truly commercial and finaicially viable cash crop operations

come up wuth an economic argument or facts, your babbling is repetitive and indefensible......

When the folks at the CWB pay an initial of $1.15 a bushel for feed barley and $2.35 for malt, while the evil grain companies pay $3.50 and $4.50 for feed and malt, it's pretty clear who the enemies and friends are.

It would be really nice if you could generate at least one sentence that makes sense. And stop using the repeating letters -- that really adds an intelligent edge to your argument. If you'd actually put some real numbers into your postings, then we would have something to discuss other than ideology. Please argue using facts and proof, not this drivel about the scary markets.

Just to help Burbent/wilagro, here is some information from the CWB that will provide the basis for their discussion.

2005/06 CWB annual report (see pages 46 to 51 and pages 69 to 71 for PPO results).

                    http://www.cwb.ca/public/en/about/investor/annual/

CWB year end power point presentation.

                    http://www.cwb.ca/public/en/newsroom/releases/2007/080207.jsp

                    CWB PROs

                    http://www.cwb.ca/db/contracts/pool_return/pro.nsf/WebPRIndex?ReadForm&CropYr=2007-08

                    CWB initial payments

                    http://www.cwb.ca/en/farmers/payments/

Based on this information, build a case for why single desk is better for marketing than open market (keeping in mind 80 to 85 % of barley is sold open market). While you are at, build a case for having single desk for all barley including home fed feed barley. I am quite sure administering a producer buy back for feed barley should be easy for the CWB.

                      Wilagro,

SInce you KNOW where you are going, and how to get there... God Bless you and all the best!

However, I don't quite understand which instructions God gave you to have this authority over my neighbours and against their will... what devine inspirations give you the right to confiscate and covet my neighbours property?

Could you please explain this to me, as it really is at the base of the CWB "single desk" theory.

I need to understand where your authority comes from to preach these principals. Could you help me?
