Again Western Canadian Farmers Will Loose Out!

Just checking around whats happening on all Wheat fronts the Heck with the Barley.
Here is some prices from around the world.
ND cash prices have a wide range - between $7 and $8 with an average of $7.40 for Durum wheat.
Durum is trading in Europe for CAD$11.80 to CAD$13.27 - at the farm. Milling wheat in the UK is now $10.87 - at the farm.
In France - $10.69 a bushel CAD. New high in London - $10.80 a bushel CAD. New high in Chicago - $8.47 a bushel CAD
Now lets look at Dear Old CWB Canada the Premium price getter.

My Take home today for #1 Freight off = $1.97 Canadian. Hope and prey for remainder (Cwb PRO 1 CWRS 11.5 248.00 6.75 - 1.50 =$5.25)
Again hope and pray for $3.28
But then the excuses will start our dollar, transportation, Etc.
Again why is the Price in Vancouver what it should be in Saskatchewan when one compares it to World price. Yes the 6.75 to 7.00 I could live with if that was my take home.

According to Benny if you got that 7 bucks you would have to pay more for your fertilizer. So apparently its better to get a lower price and take a lower margin so that your input costs are lower.

Because you see our input costs are not determined by supply and demand and what is going on in the rest of the world like high corn prices in the US. Our input cost are based on some kind of magical formula derived from the prices set by the CWB...

Is anybody else buying this? I'm have a hard time not laughing as I type here.

I never said higher grain prices are a bad thing ding dong Franny. I said input prices will increase over time. You idiot.

I think you should spend more time with your wife, rather than "playing" with your stinky pigs.

Really, is that what you said in regards to the Scottish Malt prices breaking the $8 mark?

Can you imagine what rail freight, fertilzer prices, herbicides, land rent, etc would be?

Your comments to Franny truly show your lack of class and intelligence. Grow up. "Input prices will increase over time" Wow!! What a revelation.

              Benny,

For you to say such a stupid thing about Franny's wife etc. shows exactly how little respect you have for anyone else with a mind that actually functions.

Talk about character assasination to cover a VERY weak argument.
