I've got a feeling the stars are in alignment for flax to take off.

Here in south central Manitoba, there is normally quite a lot of flax grown. This year there is much less than normal, and what is there looks rather poor in yield. If this is the trend for the country, there should be a lot less hitting the market this year.

Any idea what Stats Can says about acres planted in 07?

Ditto on the quality here. Lots of weeds, flax would have to be worth a lot more for me to grow it, last time I had cleavers in it and thats a bad weed to clean up. So Cotton is it that the Chinese will have to use something other than lead based paint in children's toys?
