I tend to agree with the attention being given Vader... this is EXACTLY what he is looking for... and needs to confirm his important Mission:

To boldly go where no man has gone before, to the Liberal Trough of Regulation, Arrogance, and Greed.

Emulate Ralph Goodale if you must... Vader... and the institutions and strife he is responsible for... are a haunting legacy.

Why would any one expect Flaman to resign?

It would show he has confidence in being actually able to win the seat in an election.

It would signify that the BOD are not a bunch of partisan political hacks.

It would show he understands the damage done by introducing partisan politics to the governing and running of the cwb.

and most of all it would show true character to recognize the conflict of interest that he is in by remaining on the cwb bod's.

None of these things even enter into the deepest recesses of Flamans mind.

Remember this is a guy who abandoned his principles and was bought off for a few trinkets and beads.
