When we didn't watch these guys during the last rally we ended up with a 85 million dollar deficit.

I realize the risk of another 2002/03 crop year. The reason I would be using the CWB producer pricing options on delivery. This is happening - the CWB had a graph a month ago (mid September) which showed use of producer pricing options for 2007/08 was almost equal to 2006/07 (a record use year). This will create a whole new set of challenges for the CWB which will have to change their mindset. Their risk management strategy has to be more than averaging sales over an 20 month period but rather something that meets the needs of their customers - farmers.
