Realizing I broke the rule as well, what does US foreign policy have to do with grain marketing/the rally in Regina? Perhaps its connection is to highlight the freedoms who enjoy in Canada to freely express our opinions and to take control of our own destinys.

okay for a change i'll try to get on track. i think the cwb has to go because it's not doing its job and with the changes to contracting options over the past years it's impossible for it to be a good selling agency. it's continually competing against itself. now i'll go off on a tangent. getting rid of the cwb is fine but does nothing to address the bigger problems. wanting to be an american farmer without subsidies is fine this year when prices are high but if wheat goes back to $2.50 over time(and i think cotton would agree that's possible) as one elliot wave technician was quoted in last week's producer then whether or not there is a cwb is irrelevant. the problems of canadian grain farming go much deeper than the cwb. i think it was a manitoba study that concluded fertilizer prices are higher in canada than the us because there is less competition here. no kidding! that is a structural problem that either has to be addressed or the canadian govt. can subsidize fertilizer co.'s by helping pay your bill. kill the cwb and move on to bigger issues.

        Hey Franny.

I strongly support our troops and their current mission. Many of my neighbours and family members, current and past, served in the armed forces.

However, It's quite ironic that you are posting stories on how well are boys and girls are doing in Afghanistan.

        Arent you a CO?

        Remember WW1 & WW2? Where were "you"?

Are you attempting some stupid political statement here?

No, I am not what would be classified as a conscientious objector.

And I wasn't even a gleam in my fathers eye during World War I or II.

But thanks for jumping away from the facts anyways.
