CWB Rally Flaman attending as a liberal candidate or CWB director

Just wondering who is paying Rod Flaman's bill to go to the CWB rally. Are farmers paying for him as a CWB director or is he paying for himself as a liberal candidate.
Or just maybe farmers are paying for him to go as a liberal candidate!
Every event or meeting he goes to, this question will come up. I think he needs to resign.

Good question. If Mr. Flaman actually goes to this event and declines to collect his CWB per diem as a director (which he should since he is now a political candidate), will he also decline compensation from the Liberal Party or its donors? Will we ever know? Nothing less than total transparency is needed. And since there will always be doubts about who he is representing and who is paying what, he will always either be in, or perceived to be in, a conflict of interest. In my opinion, in the interest of his personal integrity, the CWB's, and the Liberal Party's, he should resign one or the other position.

Vader, do you think Rod Flaman should resign as CWB director or as a political candidate?

Any CWB director attending this meeting should not be charging his per diem or expenses. This meeting has no direct relationship with the day to day operations of the CWB. NO director of a Canadian corporation that respects and honours its code of conduct would even think of getting paid for attending an event like this.
......... oh wait, I forget, this is the same BOD that modified its ethics to keep Flaman at the table. I guess they will and can do what ever they want, even if it comes out of producer pool accounts.
NO wait there is the contingency fun!
