Duh open market strikes again! This is just plain stupid. Buy fertilizer, that they won't deliver? Sounds like the condo framers, that sell their units, build the slum, then at possession time the framers want more cause it cost so much to build. What a novel idea, maybe everyone should grab this and run with it. After all, there were contracts signed, but the extra fine print provisions allow the scum to git away with this crime, sounds like fraud, but it isn't really. In this hot economy farmers are about to fall victim to framers again, what else is new? yada, yada #$@%&*()(*&^^%%$#@ h-les.

Don't blame your retailer. We have fertilizer with wheels under it that the price is changing on. If you want to point the finger at someone the blame is should be placed on Agrium, Cargil, Simplot. As a retail I average if I'm lucky I average a $12/mt margin. It pisses me off too because as the cost goes up my margins have to go down to remain fair/competitive.

I have no problem Blaming the real culprit and yes its AGRIUM CARGIL ETC. they are squeezing all but I remember the Fert industry pushing the retailers a few years back to get into services like spraying agronomic help trucking etc to make their money because fert and chemical were not going to cut it.Looks like were here.
One this is certain we need to either have Retailers start bringing it in by boat from off shore etc. or open the boarder up so when I deliver canola to Velva ND (Basis is -15 today VS -40 at ADM in Watson) and bring back fert on back haul, yes the N is from Belle-plain but it starting to look like its going to work. Second get the Competition Buero some Balls and have them look into this and then access fines like the USA!
