    Price rally or price recovery?

I stated back in spring that what we were seeing at the time was a price recovery not a price rally like some experts were saying at the time. We are at good sustainable pricecs now and anything beyond this point should be considered a price rally, ex: Frozen Argentine wheat and drought in the U.S.
I read today that they still expect "a good volume of wheat from Argetina". But I belive the quantity of "good" quality wheat will be slashed in half, jmo. Hopefully the livestock sector can adjust to at least current feed grain prices. But a word of caution, when everything looks up something triggers a downslide - hopefully this is years away and not months.

Do you believe oil will ever be 27 dollars again?

Did you know gold has spent almost a month over 800 dollars-something that has never happened.

Chronically high prices are here to stay for quite sometime.

The price "rally" occurs when we break above our uptrend channel, this is the time to sell. When we hit the bottom line of our trend channel,we buy.

Thanks for the lesson, cotton. Good to see that most agree that higher prices may be the norm. I hope so because a 20-30% slip bakwards in grain/oilseeds will put us in the red ink very quickly given the steep rise in inputs.
My point was grain/oilseed markets hopefully have recovered to sustainable levels after years of below net returns, and hopefully the livestock industry can addapt.
