    CWB tongue tied

It's interesting to note that while the CWB always seems to have a response when farmers complain, they have been mysteriously quiet when it has come to a response to the maltsers request for an open market. Does this mean it is fine to discredit your farmer owners but not your customers? Can we take this out further and suggest that in the CWB sales program the customer who has choices besides the CWB has the upper hand over the farmer who has no alternative. It's sad the the CWB who could have been pro active on many issues and tried to address the needs and concerns of both producer and end user instead chose to fight for the status quo and hide under it's legislated position. The boat captain can best explain. If you ignore the small holes in the hull you will eventually sink.

    Craig,

I understand the Canadian Cruise Liner that just sank in the Antarctic only had a hole the size of a fist... along with a crack!

Once the ship starts listing... and the water is -10c... that was filling the Liner... it didn't take long to float the life boats and evacuate the passengers!

JUST A "Small" piece of ice sunk the ship in NO TIME AT ALL!

      Tom Is correct
CWB ship is taking on water and watch for the Rats to abandon ship over the next few months
Starting with Flaman to the Liberal party (talk about gettting off a sinking ship and using a anchor for a life raft)

      Current situation
      Lost farmers millions of Dollars
      Lost barley Plebiscite
      Lost NDP Goverment in Saskatchewan
      Lost support of Key customers(Malsters)
Another huge Iceberg called a Harper Majority in the horizon

Yes The time has come for farmers to enjoy life off of the CWB Prison ship

Just to add to the list, the latest pro wheat board rally a couple of weeks ago was a complete bust. Only 40 people showed up and very few of those were actually even farmers.

Craig referred to the "farmer owners'of the cwb.
Ithink actually the staff and employees own the place since they are its major beneficiaries.
The directors are sworn to serve the organization.

Since all the directors, staff and management are Liberals, then, the ACTUAL owner of the CWB is the Liberal Party of Toronto.

Hmmmm. Wonder when they start cutting the cheques for this year's employee stress pay.
