Mosaic good inv?

Cargill is a major shareholder of Mosaic . Mosaic has a 50 percent share in Saskferco the nitrogen fertilizer plant in Belle Plaine. They own potash mines, phosphate mines. Thought they would be a good investment as I am a beginner. Checked Mosaics stocks and one year ago they were approx. 22 on the chart today they closed at 79.93. Wow if one only invested one year ago. Before that time they were pretty much steady in price. Anyone think it would still be a good investment????

What is with ADM? is that the one yet to explode?

My 2 cents is no.

Because,
1-its listed on the nyse
2-its pe ratio is 55
3-440 million shares
4-its already made 400%(but has had a recent breakout)

The main reason is its listing on the nyse(ticker symbol mos)-trust me you do not want us dollar denominated assets.

As far as buying fertilizer company shares-great idea!Just maybe not this one.
Agrium(agu) looks good to me with it aquiring uap to become the largest north american input supplier.Of course i'm kind of talking out my but here because i havent spent much time on this sector of the market,although with the gains these companies have racked up i should have been.

I love the idea of talking stocks to people who are interested.
