Must be 20 Ships sitting in Vancouver!

Just down today at the water front in Vancouver, boy are their ships sitting in the harbor. Yes Grain ships waiting to be loaded.
Hopefully its not with HRS the CWB sold for 4.00's a bushel. DPC is getting close to my magical $9.00 that I have been waiting for. Closed a 8.68 freight off to our terminal. Not the $9.25 plus like ND but getting close.

If I was looking at those ships one word would come to mind. 'DEMURGE'

        Parsley,

        "Demurage

        Demurage

        Demurage"

Actually on CWB boats... it is 'Dispatch credit minus day one'

        'Dispatch credit minus day two'

        'Dispatch credit minus day three'...

On non-CWB grain it is Basis getting wider (lower farmgate price) on non-CWB grain:

        Day one...

        Lower,day two....

        Lower yet day three.....

So what or who will be blamed for it this winter?

Railways? Too cold? Too warm? Corporations? Lack of farmer selling? The easter bunny?

I just got back from a Port Tour and a tour of the AGT
terminal that the ITAC purchased this summer. We
went on a tour of the harbor as well and there was not
many ships there on monday. They can not load the
ships when it rains and it was raining almost
everyday. THe long shoremen would tarp the ships 5
years ago to load in the rain and they will not tarp to
              load in the rain anymore,

The CWB posts the number of ships in port.

                http://www.cwb.ca/wcm/wps/wcm/connect/cwb/root/en/newsroom/Grain movement updates#updates-daily

Not so sure if available on the web but there was also another report which provided details on the vessel lineup including destination and grain. Has anyone seen this?

Jag farms I have been here since wednesday and This morning (saturday) I am sipping my Starbucks and guess what there are about 20 ships sitting waiting. If they werent there monday thats great. But dont let people blow smoke up your --- that every thing is as it seems. We have been sold that line for years and years and years. Trust us we know better. Farmers need to ask questions and get answers, not just simple trust us we know better attitude. Oh yea its been sunny and 7 - 3 today no rain.

That should read 7 to 3.
One thing is certain if those ships are here for grain thats great.
