One of the CWB support side is that you don't have to market your grain. That is so far from the trueth, I spend more time trying to market and stress and effort trying to figure out the CWB system and where the price is going. I have a hunch Charlie could say the same. He has got many posts on CWB marketting. Saskfarmer said he will be at the CWB day in Saskatoon, perhaps he can enlighten the CWB that it is all a little complicated and we still don't have proper price signals. If the CWB is working for us they should give us farmers more info. When I fixed priced CWSWS wheat they told me there could not be export movement. One month later there is exported soft wheat. They should of let me know that. Obviously they do not work for me.

Amen to that, you want complicated and bureaucratic the CWB is an organization for you. You can't figure anything out on the PPO's without a calculator , a big piece of paper, and lots of time. And I've talked to lots of farmers who forgot to sign up a delivery contract at the same time as they took a fixed price, they just 'assumed' that when you sign a contract the board would actually want to take delivery of the grain. But oh no that would make too much sense.
With every other crop its how much a bushel, when is delivery and you're done.
