although rather boring at times, I am going to go as I missed last year. And will be the first time I will have to pay as a former employer use to pick up my tab.
CWB has some CIGI attendees there, part of their course. CIGI is and I hope always be around , one has to stomach the day at the CWB office yet it is a great course for farmers.
I'd imagine a gaggle of CWB directors picking up their per deims and some staff there too, as its just across the street from the office!!
Also the CWB I believe gives out there malt masters awards too. Look forward to see if any fur is flying then !
Good place to net work and challenge others on the value of certain antiquated establishments, including the CWB !!

        Erick,

I agree with your statements, generally very good work done by folks in Winterpeg that do present a large amount of info...

I am sure anyone attending will get good value for their time and money!

If we don't Lee... it will be our fault... and not the organising committee's lack of good faith and hard work.

On the CWB's portion... it is a great opportunity... in a civil way... perhaps even using tact and good taste... to reinforce areas in which they need improvement.

If we do not work on improvement in these areas... the CWB has more latitude to ignore our problems!

There is nothing more that I would like to see... than 500 "designated area" wheat and barley growers attend... and in a thoughtful way... indicate why the CWB needs to change and provide the services we truly need from a marketing partner!

            Thanks for your support, Tom4cwb.

I know that a huge chunk of the conference is paid for by sponsorships from private agribusiness. Non-CWB people on the org. committe are paid huge amounts (six or eight atta-boys)for our contribution.

CP, my suggestion is be careful how you label Parsley. You know how mother cats can put the run on a big, (young) tom if they need to.

If I can get there I will be wearing a SCREW THE CWB button on my shirt (under the happy face of course).

CP, have you thought about having a breathalizer mounted to your keyboard? It has helped me a lot over the years.

Our grandfathers built this world, but also fought - and died - for FREEDOM!!

Please explain how forcing farmers to pool the grain they grow is freedom.

"the blood of men did just as much as any wooooman"

Are you saying some of your forefathers birthed the children in your family?

Hmmmm... is that your excuse C.P.?

                    "Our granfathers built this world"

We need to respect the people who built this world and even those that can't spell.

Does this mean the worlds built so we're done? No more building is necessary? Are you saying those who want to change things do not respect the past?

Sip slowly, CP. Slower. Yes, that's better.

                      Gulping results in disoriented thoughts.
