Charlie,
"The 2008-09 force majeure tonnage limit has been reached and the force majeure option is being withdrawn. It will no longer be available upon sign-up for the balance of the 2008-09 Basis Price Contract (BPC) and Fixed Price Contract (FPC) programs."
To have this program bought up on January 22... @ 200,000 tonnes... shows the great need; and staggering lack of effective program development for the majority of growers that must deal with the CWB.
12mmt of 08-09 wheat deserved to have a generally avaliable program.
As with the DPC... the CWB JUST DOESN"T GET IT!
