I think you missed the point here cp

Saskfarmer never said that his $8 was a premium yet the cwb insists that it needs it's monopoly to get farmers a premium which as you know as well as anyone that the cwb premium is fiction.

Do you consider every sale made by the cwb so far this year "sucker sales" as well or were sales made in Oct or Nov. premium sales?

Why is SF's sale a sucker contract but cwb sales made prior to the absolute top of the market is just good management by the cwb?

It seems to me that if you were consistent you would be calling cwb marketing pathetic as well.

The most important point is that Saskfarmer can give away his grain if he wishes. He grows it and he should own it, and dispose of it as he sees fit, much as you see fit to buy/sell the commodities that beckon you, cp.

Making a decision to sell your own grain/property at a certain price is legitimate.

The CWB's decision to sell grain they have captured by force, into various markets throughout the world for varying prices, sometimes low, is not legitimate.

        You are right Adam.

Unless i missed it in their news magazine, they never came close to seeing what is unfolding in the markets. They should be a premier marketing think tank of sorts and should have been able to connect the dots.

Funny how their asking farmers to hold back wheat this year for next, when they should have been telling us to hold back wheat last year.

Latest to add to the fire about not being a marketer, Cargill just emailed they have get this a whopping $8.14 for August, Hm and its filling fast. I said that's nice, Have a order for sale way higher call me back later.
See I am negotiating with these sales its me, And to the Smart Fart that says Giving away my product I sold 15% for fall at that price 15% of my production, If I do nothing the rest can sit in my bin till hell freezes over, I have money for fall, that's it in a nut shell. So yea I gave away some, But I am looking out and can do with the rest of my production what I want but The genius at the CWB I have to trust them they will get me a premium. I have heard that till I am blue in the face. Show me the money. They never can just disappointment after disappointment.
              Its Happy hour.

You are being hard on yourself. I have a very successful farmer cousin in Ontario, who always says'Never be afraid to lock in a profit'.
