Is It really dry?

Just wondering if it is true that there are some dry regions on the prairies. My cropping decisions depend somewhat on other areas expectations of moisture conditions. We are very wet. We have a pile of snow on the fields, and seeding is getting to be an issue for the coming year already. The reason I ask, is that like I said, some of my decisions get based on conditions outside of our too wet zone. If it is a drought like 2003, that is when we grow bushels it seems.

On average it is very dry in all the southern praries. But one heavy dump of snow snow could change that between now and mid april.
