    March Minny starting to trade

    My 10 min delay DTN showed March Minneapolis traded off limit up around 12:30.

    Man by the time I typed this out it was back to limit up.

      The spreads between contract months and the 3 markets is what is interesting to me. Example, some carry between March and May in KCBT/CBT but a $2.50 inverse on MGE. Note the old crop KCBT (HRW) spreads versus MGEX (DNS). Know that the upper end/protein of HRW is a quiet acceptable bread wheat (realizing not high protein CWRS/DNS) and should start to replace spring wheat in many places/markets. Also not short CWRS wheat in western Canada to supply the market at current prices.

      Very interesting. Like watching an eclipse of the sun - a once in a lifetime opportunity where one can only sit back and learn.
