CWB 08-09 lock-ins are back

"The CWB has resumed 2008-09 BPC December futures lock-ins as on February 13, 2008."

And they are only $1.00/bushel less today than Feb 11.

That one day off surely didn't hurt anyone out there.

That was sure 'maximising grain farmer's returns' wasn't it?

Does this mean the CWB did not sell any wheat on the 12th of February... and gave the Customer buying the $1/bu discount?

I see bold lettering on their site now saying that the program may be withdrawn at any time they want.

Was that disclaimer always there?

I am really questioning the fairness of allowing those that got in under the deadline to clear an extra $1/bushel on those contracts. I know "he who hesitates..." but...
