    Australia to open wheat export.

Good article on Reuters News today.

You can find it in a Google search.
    "Australia to open wheat export"

    Points in the article

--AWB will be exporting 07/08 wheat crop for the last time as a monopoly.
--The new system will be operational by July 1st 2008
--Export permits to be issued to qualified groups
--No limit on groups applying for permits
--Australian Wheat Board to be disbanded, one of the reasons being the kickbacks they received of 222 million from the former gov't of Saddam Hussein of Iraq.

Imagine this coming from a Labor government, who it appears want to streamline their grain marketing system in the best interests farmers.

And you won't hear much if anything about this in the Mainstream Media in this country.
