Morris W. Dorosh writes the following in this week's Agri-week:

"The biggest hurdle for Bill C-46, as previously noted, is the potential for it to be stalled in parliament in the agriculture committee and elsewhere.

I doubt that it will stall. Given the current track record of the Feds. Just look at how they've handled the long gun registry! Since the country wants/demands C-46, and since majority rules aspect, smooth sailing clear through, doubt it will even wake the Senate, cause they all open marketers. Maybe Karl HANS could lend a hand and smooth the waters with a paper bag full of Canadian currency! That failed ostrich farmer, at the helm is a crafty fellow... another great Ag Min. Hold on to yer hats boys its gonna be a wild ride!

Farmers can belong to the co-op or not.
No jail term if farmers exit membership from the co-op.

Nice to be able to enjoy a choice environment amongst co-operating farmers.
