Tried Atkins once, and while I love cheese and meat, you do get tired of this, and so I believe that the portion size and exercise option is best, which is why WEIGHT WATCHERS works, and I am just saying cause I am not sure I am doing this so well!

Lots of great apps to track calories which help!

    Good luck.

I went on a diet about 4 years ago. Cut most
sugar out no pop, black coffee only no sugar.

I would eat as much vegtables and salads as
wanted and cut back on meat and breads, pasta
      and i lost 40 pounds.

I felt great as well lots of energy. I gained about
15 pounds back but still am 25 pounds less.

I was exercising 30-45 min a day and i cut back
on that when i gained the 15 pounds back.

The start is very tough very tired, but once your body
adapts you feel great, how long that takes is different
          for everyone.

Watch the protein, something like over 35% can make
          you sick,which happened to me.

Would anyone know (or admit) what caused the fall?

May even be multiple causes involved.

This protein diet reminds me of the horse rancher who on assessing his winter feed supply determined he would run out well before spring, but he had a good sawdust supply from his woodmill.
So he substituted, hay for sawdust. Be damned if when he got to a 100% sawdust ration that his horses didn't die.

Its perfect, just enough mystery so
everyone is right. Even though he had MI,
                    CVD, hypertension and congestive heart
                    failure.

And ALL or most of these diet doctors have a BOOK or two for sale at the end of their spiels. Coincidence or not?
