    Which wheat?

Just looking at new crop prices delivered local Viterra/Glencore in Foam Lake
    Oct. 2013 prices:

Hard red $7.95 est. yield 40
    Gross $318
CPS red $7.22 est. yield 55
    Gross $397.10
SWS (Andrew) $6.34 est. yield 70
    Gross $443.80
CW feed $6.63 est. yield 70
    Gross $464.10

    All conservative/achievable yields.

Firstly, can I sell my SWS wheat as feed? Secondly, why grow anything but
SWS? Have grown between 80-110 bu/ac in the past of SWS.

By the way, canola at 35 bu/ac and $12.25/bu yields a gross of $428.75. Oats at
    80 bu/ac and $3.24/bu has a gross of $259.20.

    Gregpet,

We found Viterra has accepted SWS as feed wheat in
    recent years.

    1. Elevator must know the CW Feed wheat is SWS.

    2. Recent feed wheat contracts we have filled; had
class restrictions... i.e.. CWRS has been a condition of
quality at times... be sure SWS is allowed and a part of
the contract when it is signed.
