I think you are on the money Wilagro. Brass
statue as thanks from future generations of W
Canadian farmers. Downtown Winnipeg a good
    location?

      Dave,

Gerry deserves something after putting up with all the
name calling the likes of Willy and Burb have done over
      the past few years!
In the middle of the traffic circle at portage and main
would be just fine with me! Minister Ritz has got to be
one of the hardest working Ministers on the hill. He
was at Farmtech yesterday... by far one of the most
accessible Minister or Ag in the past 50 years... which
      is why folks visit Gerry!

      Cheers!

I'm gonna do the three guess thing:

          1. Hazen Argue (remember him? Trudeau's 'bird salute' to the West)

          2. Eugene Whelen ("Too much sun will fry your brains!")

          3. Ok. None of the others were communists. They also had something between their ears besides a vacuum. So only two guesses.

Man, am I caustic this morning or what?

Eugene Whelan must have gotten wilagro eating
a lot of beef because he vets ferociously some

Great idea Will, but bronze might weather a little better than brass because of it's higher copper content, especially if it was erected at the corner of Portage and Main Wpg, as Dave suggested.

Chuck chuck- Get with it man! .. or be left behind.

Like him or hate him, Gerry Ritz is a determined man that does what he promises.
If a lobbyist can get Ritz's attention and convinced of the merit of whatever his cause may be. Then opponents better be ready for a fight!
So far I'm all for a statue of Ritz, maybe even gold plated!

Wilagro probably has a shrine devoted to Ralph Goodale in his house....

Brass? Not sure what I was thinking but we buried
my father today so I was a little off this am. He
worked with Palliser Wheat Growers and WCWG
for 15 years. Wanted to see marketing freedom
his whole life. In the end, he sold 100 percent of
his last durum crop in Oct and it was all gone by
mid Nov. Really was one of his wishes and glad
he could see it. Let's make'r outa gold!

                      Dave,

The statue to be Coloured Like the beautiful golden
wheat we are so well known globally for! I second that
motion! Gerry can have a bag of wheat slung over his
shoulder... to signify the marketing freedom we fought
                      so long for.

                      Cheers!
