Cranston grain, Trevor Schulz, screws farmers

Normally I post stuff to inspire discussion being
the village idiot, but this one is different. But only
for this topic of course!

Cranston grain owned by Trevor Schulz cannot
pay, or maybe more accurately will not pay,
farmers who delivered grain from about end
October to early mid December. Many have been
paid no money and a few just a little bit while he
pocketed hundreds of thousands of dollars. Since
he was not bonded, and corp has no assets,
farmers will get nothing.

This should be a wake up call once again to all
farmers to no longer take for granted you will just
be payed but rather take steps either thru
insurance or in trust at a lawyers.

Not afraid to say I got ****ed by this jerk and it is
changing the way I sell grain. If that helps others
to change, then awesome. From the talk I hear,
this problem is just tip of the iceberg.

Broker sold to Cranston who sold to feed lot is
how it was done. Most feedlots etc are not
bonded.

There is no way to determine if a company if so
far extended beyond bond. That is no guarantee
either you will be paid.

Speaking of idiots. Isn't there some shit head who
rants to farmers about doing credit checks and
taking accounts recievable insurances on new
and existing buyers?

The last time I contributed (rather lengthy)
marketing insight, I was told to go ****
myself!....nice.
People get what they deserve. I mean that both
in success and.....not success.
Farmers are so smart and wealthy they dont take
free advice!
FYI.... I got paid. All of it....on time. I said thank
you.

help because i dont know how to deal with

wd9: Did Cranston Grain get paid by the
feedlot who in turn refused to pay you or
did the feed lot pay Cranston and they
still refused to pay you? Either way,
send in the "Inglorious Basterds"!!
