Sf3 missed that, are you saying you got a place for 9500 and is that a week or month. 6000 a week for house on the beach in Aruba, has a pool, which most villas do not.85 F. every day, very safe and white sand beaches.

No Rd I was joking with BTO
$9500.00 per person under $10000 can be brought into the cayman.
their are 20 of us going.

Were in 4 condos for the group.
        Family get together.

Let us know how Aruba is im interesting for 2014.

Sf3....Aruba.. Nice and clean, don't see much poverty, little rougher in the refinery district. Cops drive new trucks and are always around, everyone says how safe it is there. Small place , you can see it all in 7 to 10 days. Water comes from de-salination plant for everything. You can drink out of the garden hose.I think every American or Canadian restaurant is there and because there are few all inclusive resorts, they charge lots. Locals are a mix of Dutch, Spanish background, lots of Chinese shop owners, decendants of slaves who hid out there back then. Most everyone speaks good English, Spanish, French and their local language.Beaches are awesome and water is clear and warm.I would say a rental car is a must. 60 to 70k. is top speed there.

              Wish list singapore,cayman,new zealand,south of
              france.

              Been to florida,bahamas,mexico,hawaii.

Hands down hawaii is the best imo, something about
the air,its hard to describe, maybe i'm overly sensitive
but some of those other places sort of stink.

Best bang for your buck will always be vegas, not a
              great place for kids though.

Ive wasted a lot of money on a lot of things, travelling
              is not one of them.

I agree cot Hawaii the air is awesome.
                View is nice also.
Cayman is a first for my family rum point is 20 min
from condo. Rental car is a must. It's basically a
sand bar in the Caribbean. Most people see it
when they stop with the cruise ship.
Condo third floor two bedroom ocean front. See
sun rise every morning. Leave Monday can't wait.

                      P. Vallarta and Cayo Coco Cuba. That's it for this year. Liked them both for different reasons. Noisy salesmen in P. Vallarta a little irritating. Stayed in marina area condo. Very nice. Cayo Coco is a good all-inclusive destination for a week. Pick a highly rated hotel and you wont go wrong.
Hey Saskfarmer3, if you chill in the Caymans for 3 weeks you'll have to come home in March to thaw out!!! Don't miss the Kittiwake dive/snorkle trip. Haven't been to Caymans-would love to go some day.

Boarderbloke, sorry didn't get back to you sooner.
I went with Rupiper Travel out of South Dakota. www.ruptravel.com
well done trip, flew from Miami to Manaus in the Amazon, then down to Brazilia the capital before heading west to Cuiaba and a bus trip up to Campo Novo in the centre of the Matto Grosso state. Went to one of the Maggi farms (AMaggi is, I believe the biggest farmer in Brazil). As well as other farms, bean, sugar, banana, cotton, corn. Harvest was underway so was reseeding of the second crops.
Flew down to the boarders of Argentina, Paraguay and Brazil to see some farms there as well and the Itaipu Dam and Iguassu Falls.
Spent 3 days back in Fort Lauderdale just relaxing from the trip! great group, few AB farmers, mostly Ontario and a few from Minnesota. Age ran from 35 to 80, and I gave the older set great appreciation as it was early days and late nights of travel and touring.
