Sorry boys, the old humiliation or alienation
tactics don't work on me.
As I've said before, scientific discovery makes
our lives better. Might be ten years from now
when a piece of today's scientific fact finally fits
into a mini puzzle. Estrogen, in some cases, is a
godsend. But advertising it as an essential
steady daily stream of it to women was
irresponsible. The good thing was, women had a
choice to buy the bullshit, or reject it. I did the
latter.
I have no problem with science discovery, and
fully support continuing research Science is
never complete, because we are unable to grasp
the wholeness of it, nor how it fits into the rest of
the world.
I do have a problem with those selling it without
due caution and with no responsibility.
Wholesale hawkers who announce they will cure
all by slapping some scientific miracle agent into
something we eat, or wear, or drive or sleep on,
or hold, in order to make a buck, and have no
responsibility for side effects, are truly abhorrent
critters. Especially if we dont know it's there.
The good thing is I don't have to buy. The other
good thing is I don't have to approve. Choice and
responsibility are key. Fight hard for both.
