Don't take advice from me, but apparently farmland is a good investment.

Having said that, there is a young fellow that could a mild investment and some advice ........... well you get it.

Go enjoy it, you can't take it with you.

The best investment my dad made was in himself and his family.

One of the perfect investments to hedge against
inflation and deflation is something like pennies or
      nickels.

If its deflation and cash is king, you hold currency.

If its inflation and cash is trashed, the metal alloy goes
up making the coin more valuable.

        Dear miss/Mrs Parley

Perhaps you did not know this but I am not only a farmer but a Nigerian Prince as well, I have been authourized by my late uncles fathers families Gov't to invest all your money in our vast diamond holdings. UNtold wealth will be yours . We will be contacting you by spam errr email to provide further details.

And if thats not to your liking have a friend who actually does have a little investment money that has done well traditionally with Bank Stocks with trailing stops. Good dividends and they certainly have performed well, has been also doing some preferred shares in blue chips utiliites and pipeline companies that have been in that 4 to 5 percent range certainly better than GIC's but without the price volitility that can come with common shares.

Oh and the preferred pay out as dividends not as interest so can help with the tax thing over normal investment income. Lately you have to be right on top of getting them aas they issue and close real quick in this low income environment. The ones you would want anyhow.

                Pennies, that's possibly the smartest
thing I've ever seen on here. Aside from
that after returning from s.e. Asia I've
learn that nearly the first major
purchase someone makes the minute they
have two dimes to rub together is a
moped. The overwhelming brand of choice
                is honda.

                  Parsley.

You are swimming in the same pickle brine as corporation with their stockpiles of cash. They are on hold realizing that to hire anyone would most likely result in a negative return on investment. A jurisdictional force in an attempt to free up this cash has suggested "tax them".

My suggestion on your hoard is to buy a larger mattress, if the lump won't stay on its side. If that doesn't solve your situation, then kick the lump to the couch. You will notice I didn't say crotch.
